HOW DO I DRESS? HERE’S A WOMAN’S DEFINITIVE ANSWER FOR A MAN

If you are a man and don’t know how to dress, here are some tips on what is best to wear and what is best to avoid.

Remember, however, that these are just tips to be taken as such. So don’t wear something that makes you feel uncomfortable just because ‘it’s fashionable’. Experiment, and you will find your own style.

Jackets? Yes, jackets of all styles are fine:
Let’s start by saying that the best are those with a tailored cut; perfect with both classic looks and more sporty outfits. In short, it is a type of jacket that gives an extra edge to every look. For the other types of jackets, some care should be taken when designing the look, as these jackets do not suit all occasions. In short, it is good to use them in a more considered and calculated way, so as not to risk a combination of styles that are too different from each other.

Shirts and T-shirts? No to excessively tight-fitting ones:
Whether shirts or t-shirts, the idea of squeezing one’s body inside a garment is not ideal. The purpose of the garment is in fact to enhance every body type. It is therefore better to prefer garments that wrap around our shapes without any constriction. But don’t worry, you can still play around with the pattern and colour of the fabric.

Jeans? Yes to ripped ones…no to overly tight-fitting ones:
As much as I love suits, with tailored trousers, we have to recognise that jeans have their functionality and practicality on many occasions (not on formal ones though).
As with shirts and t-shirts, jeans or trousers, too, should not be exaggeratedly skinny. Even worse if they have a turn-up at the ankle that visually shortens the leg.
What about rips in jeans? Yes, but to be used when you are young. They are in fact not very appreciable on people of a more mature age. The risk is to look ridiculous.

What about accessories? Yes, but used sparingly:
The accessory, as for a woman, also for men has the ability to give an extra edge to the whole outfit. As in everything, the important thing is not to overdo it. If you want to be more relaxed, follow the trends of the moment and indulge in experimentation. So quietly fill your wardrobe and drawers with ties, scarves, bow ties, hats, scarves, watches, bracelets, rings and why not even some backpacks or handbags.
