The 74th Venice International Film Festival, organized by La Biennale di Venezia, will run at Venice Lido from August 30th to September 9th, 2017, directed by Alberto Barbera. The Festival is officially recognised by the FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Association).

The aim of the Festival is to raise awareness and promote the various aspects of international cinema in all its forms: as art, entertainment and as an industry, in a spirit of freedom and dialogue. The Festival also organises retrospectives and tributes to major figures as a contribution towards a better understanding of the history of cinema.

An almost futuristic touch is manifested in this re-proposal of one of the most elegant ceremonial suits used in the evening, the tuxedo, creating a promiscuous mix of unexpected volumes and materials. Poetry made of details and dedicated to those who experience the search for beauty as a pleasant obsession. A tuxedo with an elegant tailored cut that envelops the magic of designs and dreamlike details that transport us into another dimension with a new level of sophistication that is at the same time exciting and represents an avant-garde step in classic formal and ceremonial wear.
We observe the elegant cut of the fabric that wraps around the body and forms a slender single-breasted groom jacket with one button, to be worn strictly closed, with a collar turned back and a shawl decorated with an eyelet; we observe the plain sleeve decorated with four buttons on the wrist with open buttonholes.
We admire the chiaroscuro play of the jacket and black trousers enhanced by lapels, breast pocket, pockets with inserted flaps in contrasting pearl grey. The trousers are plain and in perfect dinner jacket style with a thin black band in 100% silk satin that covers the external stitches of the trousers and their belt.
The fabric that wraps around the body is a stupendous double open black in silk (92%) with an elastic percentage (8%ea) and in addition to being very comfortable presents two sides, one matte and one shiny with a pearl effect featuring a fluid and compact stitch. We observe the texture of the fabric with its magnetic visual effect and its rippling and voluminous surface.
Innovation and tradition explore magic, dreamy atmospheres and reveal a lining interrupted by surreal figures; these are prints of designed insect photographs that possess tulip petals or real rose buds instead of wings, to create a hyper-realistic effect. Prints created exclusively for Cleofe Finati Ceremony line by Archetipo, born in our workshop. We observe them running along the suspenders in the lining and finally penetrate the gold plating of buttons and cufflinks and pearl white enamelled pins to become jewels themselves, with absolute emphasis.
An avant-garde tuxedo that respects tradition, matching a bow-tie in 100% black silk satin knotted by hand with a sash produced in the same fabric of the suit, to be worn as an alternative to the waistcoat. The sash is characterised by pleating at the front with the folds upwards.
A shirt in silk satin (51%) and white cotton (49%) with black tie collar reveals through the shape of the tips of the collar and the inside wrists in black silk satin perfectly matched to the bow-tie.
The shirt features an added dickey, made in the same fabric as the shirt and slightly stiffened. The dickey is tied under the arm by laces and decorated with small matching jewel buttons, permitting a look that is always impeccable but when needed can be removed for a more casual elegance.
Two pocketchiefs recall the shirt fabric perfectly and form a rose in 100% black silk satin with a pearl band matched to the lapels, a walking cane in white varnish with the handle matched to the button and a pair of two-tone shoes in black and white patent leather.
A ceremonial collection between dream and reality that lead us to a world where the avant-garde and tradition, poetry and concreteness are fused to create a dinner jacket with a unique and impeccable style, a true masterpiece created for Cleofe Finati Ceremony line by Archetipo dedicated to the leading groom.
